2 people minimum to start this tour to Downtown Guatemala (zone 1)

And is 4-5 hour tour depending on your walking pace.

This rate does not cover private transportation, which you could arrange with us in advance.

For other parts of Guatemala city you will need a private transportation and a guide-driver or an extra space in your vehicle. ​​

Major attractions in Downtown Guatemala

• Visit an old fashion tavern still in business (not every day) with live music for Guatemalan tapas and/or a pressed beer. But when your walking tour is over since some monuments close at noon and reopen later.

• Visit a Coffee store cooperative with coffee from every Guatemala's region.

• Visit Museums at the modern part of the city:

• Popol Vuh,

• Antropologia e Historia,

• Ferrocarril (at the city downtown) 

• Museo de la Moneda

• There is an entrance and parking fee at Popol Vuh or Ixchel museum visit.

• Malls and a walking mall

• Acueducto de Pinula

• Site view of the Volcanoes, and a piece of the Berlin Wall

• Municipal Cemetery (near by the City downtown, and private transportation is needed).

Walking tours starts on Central park at the main Fountain by default ​​

 

National Palace main entrance in the middle of the building if any activity is taking place at the central park​

 

 National Palace' entrance is Q50 and only allowed with a guide from the National Palace.

Your personal guide (the one you hired from us) pays its own entrance.

• ​ Monday to Sunday at: 9am 10am or 11 am

• Please reserve at least 12-24 hours in advance.

• To reserve please go to "tour" page at the bottom of the page or make a deposit into our BAC bank account. 

 

Price/Reserve

• Minimum 2 people to start this tour.

• No individual reservation accepted.

• Cash Payments must be in GTQ only. No US Dollars accepted.

• Yet you can pay in US dollar (paper bills on site, or int. bank transfer) if you make a deposit into our BAC bank account.

• Reserve at the bottom of  "tour" page and make a deposit.
